Claire Stabile – President

Claire is a senior year linguistics major.  Her favorite subjects include acquisition, bilingualism, and heritage language studies.  When she is not studying linguistics, Claire enjoys cooking, hiking, and yoga.

Erica Cei – Internal Vice President

Erica is a 3rd year Linguistics and Spanish major and French minor. Out of all the sub-fields of linguistics, she particularly likes phonetics and phonology. Weird sounds amuse her.

Greg Ord – External Vice President

Greg is a 4th year linguistics major and anthropology minor. His favorite linguistics subjects are syntax and historical linguistics.

Katie Redderson-Lear

Katie is a 4th year Linguistics and Chinese major. She’s interested in Asian languages (and hopes to learn more of them!) as well as bilingualism and child language acquisition, which is why she’s currently volunteering in the UCLA Language Acquisition Lab.

Hannah Al-Jamie – Social Affairs Coordinator

Hannah is a 3rd year Linguistics and German major. She’s interested in semantics and sociolinguistics.

Elena Lathrop – PR/Social Media Chair, Webmaster

Elena is a 4th year sociology major and linguistics minor. She is particularly interested in sociolinguistics, dialectology, bilingualism, and child language acquisition. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, baking, and updating her food blog, elenatheepicurean.com.
