About

Bruin Linguists (BLing) is the only organization dedicated to spreading the knowledge of linguistics to the UCLA community, particularly at the undergraduate level. Our main goals are:

  • to UNITE the students in the Linguistics Department
  • to ENCOURAGE undergraduate involvement in academia
  • to IMPROVE communication between undergrads and faculty
  • to INFORM students of the various resources & opportunities available

What to expect:

  • Exciting talks by professors, grad students, & alumni
  • Info on grad school, careers, internships, and study abroad opportunities
  • Opportunities for study groups and tutoring sessions for various linguistics courses
  • Field trips, foreign movie nights, and other socials

General Meetings:
Day: Wednesdays of even weeks
Time: 6:00pm – 7:30pm
